The modern series of Honda engines include the b series engine. Right out of the factory they produce roughly 120HP to 200HP depending on the model. B series engines originally produced by Honda, not to be confused with the bmc b series engine. Various liter sizes of the b series engines range from 1.6 to 2.0 liter, some made with Variable valve timing and electronic lift control (VTEC) and some without. Newer b series engine support modified intake valves, piston tops, and ports with individual oil injecters for each cylinder. Dual overhead cam are included in the b series engine.
